Before they could rest, Lady True Silver commandeered the companions for an evening gala at The Moon and Stars, outfitting Rose and Myravyn in custom conjured gowns and the men in fine Cormyrian attire, via Garen Marston. At the party, the group navigated noble politics surrounding Cormyr’s royal succession and learned of Warden Garen Marston’s tragic past involving the late princess.
Slipping away to The Old Man inn, Warden Garen Marston offered the party an unofficial, off-the-books scouting contract to investigate three marked locations on the hobgoblin map paying 1,000 gold pieces up front and providing a Sending Stone for direct communication.
After Cinovas and Myravyn picked up their upgraded half-plate armour and Myravyn attuned the Skull of a Hound of the Hunt onto her Armour, the companions agreed to set out toward Espar to visit Rose’s mother on their way to their first scouting target in Collinswood that has a rather conspicuous surname within it’s details.
